Conor McGregor has landed in America in preparation for his trilogy battle against Dustin Poirier.

The UFC fighter published a pic of himself and his MMA instructor John Kavanagh eating lunch on the streets of Los Angeles to his Instagram stories, simply titled “Cali.”

The Notorious B.I.G. first announced his arrival on American territory on Tuesday morning when he posted a picture on Instagram of himself standing on a street in California.

He was spotted holding a cup while standing beneath an umbrella in front of two black jeeps, wearing a blue T-shirt, white tracksuit pants, and white slippers.

“What’s up Cali, the Mac’s back and I’m coming to make it rain,” McGregor remarked.

The Dubliner, who is ready to battle Poirier for the third time on July 10 in Las Vegas, instantly erased the tweet.

He had been preparing for the rematch in Dubai for many months, having suffered a stunning loss to the American in January.

McGregor has now relocated his training camp to the United States, where he will be joined by John Kavanagh and Owen Roddy, who joined him in the Middle East a few weeks ago.

He flew to the United States without his girlfriend Dee Devlin and their three children.

The 32-year-old is the betting favorite to win the UFC 264 Live main event, but former boxer – and McGregor’s long-time nemesis – Paulie Malignaggi has his doubts.

“To be honest, I believe he’s [Conor McGregor] going to get his ass kicked again,” Malignaggi stated.

“But it’s alright because they [the fans] will tell you that he wasn’t concentrating since he recently sold his whiskey for $600 million.

“Conor has really created a reputation… the piñata himself… bashing him up earns you a prize.”
